Creative Entrepreneur | Aspiring Financial Advisor
ABOUT ME!
Hello! My name is Lindsay Goad, and I am a problem-solver who loves combining creativity, entrepreneurship, and service. I have built my own Etsy business from the ground up, led sorority merchandise projects, and learned firsthand how small acts of care in any field can make a big difference. I am driven by helping people feel confident and supported, whether it’s turning a design idea into a product, guiding someone through a financial decision, or creating experiences that leave a lasting impact.
OPPORTUNITIES I AM SEEKING:
I am seeking summer internship opportunities in financial management industries where I can combine analytical skills with a passion for serving others. I understand that money is a vulnerable and deeply personal topic, and I am motivated to help individuals and families feel supported, confident, and empowered in their financial decisions.
My goal is to bring the same care and attention to clients that I have practiced in hospitality and customer service throughout my life.
Hospitality has been a cornerstone of my personal and professional growth. From working as a server at Wings Etc. to running my small business, Kalia Kreates, I have learned that listening, empathy, and attention to detail make all the difference in how people feel and engage.
I am also excited to engage with campus organizations and professional clubs that challenge me to grow as a leader, collaborator, and critical thinker. Balancing leadership roles, entrepreneurship, and academic commitments has strengthened my ability to plan strategically, communicate effectively, and adapt under pressure. Overall, I am eager to translate these skills of compassion and resilience into financial advising.

Through Alpha Phi at Purdue University, I assist with fundraising and awareness for women’s heart health. With heart disease affecting 1 in 3 women in the U.S., this work is a reminder to value our health and the people who make life meaningful.
This experience has strengthened my event planning, project management, and strategic communication skills while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Whom does your heart beat for?

Kalia Kreates started as a creative outlet during COVID-19 in 2020. I’ve always enjoyed making things for other people, and opening an Etsy shop gave me a place to express that. As it grew, I became just as interested in learning new trends and evolving the brand as I was in creating the products themselves.
In 2025, Kalia Kreates reached 1,200 total orders, marking a year focused on scalability after navigating trends.
